Albright-Knox Northland Art Exhibit

Construction Management and Services

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s Elmwood Avenue campus is temporarily closed for construction. As such, the Art Gallery decided to host exhibitions and events at Albright-Knox Northland, a project space located at 612 Northland Avenue in Buffalo’s Northland Corridor.

The theme of the opening exhibit for Albright-Knox Northland explored what makes something a home. The main attraction was a giant roof in the middle of the 15,000 square-foot warehouse on the East Side designed by artist Heather Hart.  Visitors were welcome to climb on it, even sit down and make themselves comfortable.

34 Group was hired as construction manager and to provide construction services for the art exhibit.  Personnel worked closely with the artist and art gallery staff on the design, layout, materials, and construction of the exhibit.
