Project Administrator

We are looking for a Project Administrator with commercial construction experience to join our team in the Albany, New York area. This person oversees all aspects of document control, administration of the office, and provides overall adminstrative assistance to the project staff. Below is a list of more specific responsibilities. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager in the maintenance of logs
  • Attend and Document the Weekly Staff Meetings
  • Assist Superintendents as requested
  • Assist the Project Manager/Project Engineers in the production of the Monthly Report
  • Assist Project Manager/Superintendents in the reporting of Safety Statistics Monthly
  • Assist Project Manager/Project Engineer in the Documentation of Punch listing process
  • Coordination of reproduction of contract documents and submittals as required (and other blueprinting requests)
  • Implementation and maintenance of project filing system
  • Monitor and complete the daily read files
  • Scheduling and coordinating meeting spaces
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Coordinating general announcements to trades
  • Managing contact lists
  • Meeting minutes
  • Assist with the tracking down and compiling safety, quality statistics
  • Other responsibilities as determined by the Project Manager 

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma required, Associate's/Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 3+ years experience as a Project Administrator
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Excel and Word are required
  • Strong Technical and communication skills are critical
